Anyone can open the door to a property and walk around with you while pointing out what a good deal the property is.  If that is what you are looking for in you next agent then keep looking, that is not me.   

I am a service minded individual.  I take pride in myself for not being a sales person.  I do not want to convince you that a certain home is the right home for you.  When you buy a house it is more complicating than picking a car off a lot or online, you are buying into a neighborhood. You are making a commitment to this residence for years to come.   You cannot easily pick up the home and drive it across town because…. You cannot trade it in, 6 months down the road because there is a better model.    My process is to understand your need, wants and goals in purchasing a property.  Are we looking for a certain neighborhood school, amenities within a community?  Do you need a bedroom on the main floor or even a single level home?  If so, why are you letting someone talk you into purchasing a split level home?  I have access to a number of resources to not only see homes when they first come on the market but prior to them coming on the market.  The more I know about what you want the more likely I will show you homes that meet those needs.  I spend hours a day searching the area to know what is available, the types of home, homes that are a good deal, within a price range, etc.  I spend additional hours previewing homes for clients to make sure it fits their needs.  No, my service does not cost you anything; in fact the commission I earn is no more than the commission earned by the person who sold you on your last home.  What I do ask of my clients is a commitment.  A commitment to allow me to probe your needs and wants; this takes about 15 - 30 min.  A commitment to the teamwork needed not only to find the right home, in the right  location but also to makes sure all the processes that are required after you go under contract will run smoothly to get you to the closing table.  If you are not committed to the whole process, than do not waste your time nor mind.
